She has been Councillor for Royds Ward since 2007, Governor for 2 schools and actively supports groups in Woodside, Buttershaw, Wibsey, Low Moor and Horton Bank Top. Gill has been on the Bradford South Area Committee for 4 years and is a member of the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Authority. She is Chief Executive of a charity.
